Character Education

The character trait for December is Empathy

-Being able to put yourself in someone else's place and understand how they feel.
-We show empathy by being kind and helpful to the other person.

Principal's CORNER

December 2017
As we enter the final week before the Christmas Recess, I am proud to see our students adjusted to school, comfortable in their routines, and generally happy.  I had the pleasure of serving Christmas dinner to our students and staff yesterday and I saw 400 smiling faces.  I know it was the turkey gravy, and not the server, but that is not the point.  I want to wish everyone a merry Christmas season and hope to see our families come out in large numbers to our various holiday concerts and plays next week.  It's a busy time, but this is when we make the most memories for our children.  I hope you embrace the opportunity with me.

I know that next year will be even better than this one has been, and can't wait to share it with you and your children.
